Sun Visor? ARGH!

Depending on how annoying they are, I'm intending to get them retrimmed by a trim shop but it's the sort of thing you ignore after a while.

Phil, the fabric is typical vehicle interior, hard wearing, fabric; therefore, I am almost positive that it is synthetic. Using any kind of solvent (what you'd need to use) on a synthetic fabric will melt it. Thus, I've discounted the method you mention.

Mark, if I cannot buy them without the stupid decals, I will be using a trim shop to do mine in black leather to match the interior.

I'm tall - 6'3" - therefore, if you're not, you may not find they annoy you.

I do remember noticing them at the unleashed event, I'll have a look when I get mine, at least if covered it can be uncovered again should the need arise.

Are they required for homolgation/ type approval? If so at year 3 you may have an MOT failure

I'd love to hear them use that stupid excuse.

If that is the case, perhaps they'd like to explain to me why none of my other vehicles have (have had) them.

If anybody actually needs to learn from the pictograms on the warning labels, they shouldn't bloody well be driving

Anyone have any idea how much a pair of replacement sun visors will cost? Buy those, have them retrimmed and retain the originals either for trade in or MOT. I can hardly believe they will be expensive, though availability might be an issue.

Simple solution, just have you sun visors down to stop the sun!, quite common down here.

I'd be surprised if an MOT test station failed you for no stickers on the sun visors, I've never heard of these being required for MOT... but I'm no expert so don't take my word. No mention here
