Stop/start on the manual

Does anyone know if the stop/Start on the manual can be over-ridden

Pure: SD4,Manual,pan roof,electric tail gate,reversing cam,tints,xenons (finally), 19" style 4 and in orkney grey 5 door,ebony headliner,f/s/mirrors,Nov build and Dec arrived

I would have thought so, I am driving a passatt hire car at the min and it can be turned off all together. To be honest the kind of driving i do it hardly ever engages anyway

Yes it can be disabled just like the freelander 2, there is a small button on the dash that says Eco just press it. Job done Thumbs Up

excuse my ignornace, does the stop start function work like other makes, so cuts out when idling, stopped etc ? And does it also apply in auto boxes ?

It isn't available (yet) in a Land/Range Rover with an auto box

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
