Bloody hell I had to look twice to make sure it wasn't the Evoque! Looks quite good from that distance (are those suicide doors?)

Same here, my first glance made me think "I have not seen that colour before…." then only did I realize it was not an Evoque.

I think LR will be having a lot of talks with their legal people!

Nice colour though! LR had one like that for Freelander2 at the launch. Tambora Flame. The problem with that is that it will cost less than £20k and sell like hotcakes because LR cannot make enough Evoques. If it's anything like the other cars in their range though it will be a crap car in nice clothes. Mind you Ssanyong needs something that looks better than the Musso and the Korando

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

It is usually the Chinese automakers that do this, and most have won the legal battles over it too. Confused

I'd expect them to copy some styling cues, but that's almost identical with Ssangyong badges.Rolling Eyes
Looks like the rising waistline doesn't rise quite so dramatically though, and if it's anything like hteir other efforts it will be cr*p ......... but cheap!
