I will have a rare beast then. Even though I have a TD4 and 100% happy with the choice I made, I don't see why LR offered it as both manuals are so closely matched. It's not like the TD4 is anymore economical.

Unbelievable, having ordered beginning of April, been built on 19.10. Not even reached my dealer yet but instead becomes almost history - I don't really get it !
TD4, tech pack, power fold mirrows, heated seat, ipanema sand, pano roof, xenon, fog,
dark window glas, rear cam, black rails, black rims, black grill & side panels, spare wheel

Fish, if so few have been produced then look on it as a limited edition!
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

They havnt even started building mine yet but I have been promised by my dealer that I'm still getting the TD4 engine

The 2wd eD4 still gets the 150hp engine, and the 4wd SD4 gets the 190hp engine, they've either just simplified their range, or realised the 4wd is better off with the 190hp, e.g. any fuel saving advantage of the 150hp is lost through the need to drive the 4wd losses.

It's a big rip off, there is very little difference between the two manual cars to warrant such a high increase.
