Slow entertainment/ Satnav system

Ha! I've often wondered why people were complaining about their Entertainment/Satnav responding slowly when mine is as quick as any BMW or other car I've owned. Now I know why, my car had the animations set to off already - the Dealer must've been playing with it before I collected the car.

I have the animations set to off.

It took a while to find out as I'd forgotten that the settings were in the touch screen and not the dash menu.

I have the my13 evoque and mine is quick without turning anything off.no complaints from me but mine might be running different software.

Actually, it seems to me that 2013m.y .screen is faster and responds quicker compared to 2012 test drive cars i tested before ordered mine. That's only a suspiction though.

Can't find this setup in system menu, is it still there in 2013 evoque version ?

Mines on 2012 going from memory press system set up then screen set up and its in there will confirm once I look in car

my MY11/12 animations are off and screen is still as slow as a 2wd 1.4 Nissan Qashqai

I am almost certain that such a vehicle does not exist!

Can confirm that switching off animation has helped on mine. I disabled it today and its much quicker.

I have a Nov 11 car with Animations turned on, dont notice any delay that would annoy, might try turning off just to see if it makes a difference.
