RE: Side Tubes

Yes

Seen them fitted to a few in our local dealers. They look more like tubes to me than steps. I wasn't a fan and won't miss them on mine

RE: Side Tubes

They are not meant to be steps, their function is to protect the sills from damage off road. The reason they don't fit onto the Dynamic is because of the bodykit on the sills that Pure and Prestige don't have. The Evoque isn't high enough to require permanent ladders to help you get in - you lower yourself down into it sports car style!!

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Side Tubes

I was going to have the side tubes fitted to my Freelander 2 but didn't really think they were worth the money in the looks and value for money department. I had the side steps fitted instead. I have seen a couple of Evoque's with the side tubes fitted and think the same. £400 plus & then fitting seems poor value to me, at least with side steps they serve more than one use.
