RE: Side Steps

They look fine but I just don't see how the RRE is high enough to need them...I had steps on my D4 but that was much higher. Also limits off-road adventures too...

Car:Range Rover Sport 3.0SDV6 HSE - Orkney Grey, Almond interior and with lots of options
Bike:Ducati Monster 1100 EVO

RE: Side Steps

I like the look. They give some additional door protection and do make it much easier to get in and out of the rear of the coupe.

RE: Side Steps

I thought I wouldn't need steps on my FL 2 but with young kids they are a life saver I can assure you. And all the more reason to get some fitted to the Evoque when it arrives. I like them so thumbs up from me Smile

Had a Pure TD4, Fuji White - now have Dynamic SD4, Fuji White 9 Speed auto with Verve Interior - let the new project begin!

RE: Side Steps

One thing for sure - anybody who opens a car door beside you in a car park will come off the worst if they open it too far they stick out so much. Maybe a set of FFRR electrically powered steps could be made to fit.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

They are also a very big help for adding and taking items out of a roof box, when you are under 6 ft tall..

RE: Side Steps

Xfft - whilst they appear quite visible in the photos, they don't actually stick out much further than the door - 5 to 10mm at a guess.
