Where did they come from? RE: Side Steps - cjfp - 06-05-2012 04:54pm Fleabay "evoque steps" (no affiliation blah blah) RE: Side Steps - Mudi1 - 06-05-2012 05:05pm Look stunning can they take the weight of the step of my 19 stone passenger? RE: Side Steps - cjfp - 06-05-2012 05:07pm They certainly take my 'well toned' (yeah right) 13st 10. Side Steps - cutter7 - 06-05-2012 05:08pm Looks very nice, they fill those sides to match the front.. Sent from my iPhone 4s using Tapatalk RE: Side Steps - Griff449 - 06-05-2012 07:43pm Ah I've seen these ones on fleabay and wondered what they would look like fitted and I have to say they don't look bad at all. Is it just a couple of brackets and bolts to fit or do they have to be fixed with steel tappers? RE: Side Steps - cjfp - 06-05-2012 07:47pm In the underfloor of the evoque there are some holes - into these you insert bars that have a bolt attached - you then bolt on brackets and then fit the steps. Overall Difficulty 2 / 5 PITA rating (whilst you're on your back dropping washers and nuts) 4 / 5 Time taken about 1.5 hrs RE: Side Steps - Griff449 - 06-05-2012 07:52pm Excellent same as the ones hat I fitted to my Freelander then in as they are the same to fit which is great news Best I add them to the list then........ RE: Side Steps - broady43 - 06-05-2012 08:39pm Sorry, they don't do it for me. |
