Seat damage

I've got and poked a hole in the leather on the back of my drivers seat. Anyone know of anyone that can fix it without having to take out a 2nd mortgage ?

Cheers

Duck tape Very Happy

I'm sorry to hear about your seat damage. Look up vehicle "Smart Repair" in yellow pages.
These firm can repair leather, trim, plastic & small paint damage for a lot less than a body shop. Most of them are small companies that offer a mobile service like "Chips Away" or "Dent Devil" do on paint work.

RE: Seat damage

One of the franchise dent and chip removers does a leather repair service - look up your local Chipsaway travelling repair man. Not sure if they cover as far east as your part of the country Bob but there is an outlet in North Glasgow who travels far and wide in Central Scotland. Your local dealership may also know an upholstery repairer , even though I know you can't stand them they could be worth asking who they use.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Seat damage

An independant upholstory repairer will almost allways be your best bet. I would steer clear from most franchised outfits. I am lucky I have a trimmer about 1/4 of a mile away!
