RE: Seat Size

My Prestige seats are lovely compared to the rock-hard and unforgiving X3 Sport seats.

I'm 6'2" and somewhat lardy across the beam now, and don't find any issues at all.

RE: Seat Size

I wonder if the seats were designed around the Beckham's frame? Wink

6ft 3" and 15 stone and find them very comfortable with no complaints over 13 months and 25k miles. Better than previous cars by a long way

RE: Seat Size

I've got a little, almost non existant, skinny butt lol and my other half has a much bigger rear end than mine, but we both consider the seats in my Dynamic to be the comfiest we've ever had in a car. We've had a few LR's and BMW 4X4's and none of them come anywhere close to the comfort I now have in the Evoque. I also have a spinal injury and since my accident, the comfort of the Evoque's seats means that I can drive/sit in the car longer than I've been able to do for years. I love it!

Seat Size

Funnily enough I do think that the seats are comfortable and the headrest position is perfect, way better than in my cayenne before the evoque. But I also noticed that the seats are narrow where it bolsters out towards the rear of the seat. I thought it could have been a show stopper but soon got used to it.

RE: Seat Size

I'm average size, and find my Prestige seats really comfy. It did take a lot of adjusting, tho' until I got it just right!

RE: Seat Size

New 2013 RRS or old style pre-2013 RRS?
I had a 2005 SE RRS and the seats were find, I then had a 2007MY HSE and the seats were more comfortable. Both those cars and my Evoque have more comfortable sets than the 2010MY FFRR I had between RRS and RRE. I now ave the Plus Pack Recaro style seats and they are the most comfortable car seats I have ever had. The proble with the FFRR seats wasn't really lack of padding, they were too flat and too wide so you slid around in them easily in fast cornering. Only thing the Evoque really lacks are the arm rests that all it's predecessors had.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
