Scottish Green Road Club outing Sept 11

The next SGRC green road run is on Sept 11th starting from Butterbridge which is on the west side of the Rest and Be Thankfull, just after the sharp left hand bend as you come off the run down the hill there is a large lay-by. Start is 1030 for 11am departure. No mudplugging, just a run on gravel roads and hard tracks. No special tyres needed, this is a family event, dogs are welcome , no special skills required. The route follows Waterboard and farm access roads up Glen Kinglass to the west end of Loch Sloy and around the back of Ben Vorlich

All 4WD vehicles are welcome, the route is Freelander and Evoque friendly
if you are on holiday in the area then PLEASE do come along it is a non damaging event.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Scottish Green Road Club outing Sept 11

BTW folks if you want to come along, you don't have to be in a Land Rover. The SGRC is open to all marques of 4WD SUV be it a Diahatsu Terios or the biggest Toyota Land Cruiser all are welcome - Hummers might have a problem on the narrow bits with a 300ft drop very close to the side of the road though........................... Most of the cars that come are Land Rovers because the club was started by some guys from the Scottish Land Rover Owners Club so the word was spread through them, but we don't mind what wagon you have so long as it counts as an SUV and has 4WD. We even let Jeeps join in Laughing
