Sat Nav Volume settings

Just a quick question.
I was wondering if it's possible to reduce the Sat Nav volume below "8", as sometimes it just seems so bloody loud.
Or as my friend with a Prius complains, "I just can't shut the bitch up".

Yes you can - I've been out of touch with RRE controls since selling mine in November and while waiting for a new one to gestate, but here goes. I think this is the way: if you get an instruction from the voice in the dash turn the radio volume down while it is speaking! There is also an alternative method in the satnav set-up IIRC, there is also a "mute" function so you can shut The Voice up when it all gets too much
