Sat Nav SD card

Can anyone tell me if the sat nav SD Card is vehicle specific and does it have to be dealer activated and has anyone come across the fault code sos system limited functionality and what causes it.

Welcome to the forum MW, can you tell which model and model year your car is please as there are different versions of Nav system depending which version of InControl Touch you have. SOS issue might be due to either cellular signal weak in the area where it happened. There have been a lot of reports in the Range Rover Sport of the SIM reader slot failing.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Hi car isa TD4 SE with the standard sat nav. It’s a MY16 model.
