Roof bars - pan roof vs solid roof

Hi All,

what are the difference between roof bars for the pan roof and solid roof models ?

I have a 3 door coupe, so my options for roof bars are limited, but im not willing to pay the nearly £600 that LR want for a set of roof rails.

Im seeing plenty of aftermarket rails on ebay at reasonable prices but they all say for panoramic roof models only and the sellers (business sellers) don't seem to know themselves if they will fit mine.

any help appreciated

thanks

Rog

IIRC the difference is in the trims that finish it all off - the flush plates that seal the mounts where they are attached to the roof but I stand to be corrected - if you use the search forum function I know this has been asked several times before.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
