Roof Mounted Bike Rack
Deciding on bike carrying options for my Evoque. How do people like their roof mounted racks? easy to load bikes? effect on gas mileage? with the bike and rack? with just the rack? opinions on spoiling the lines of the car? Thanks!

RE: Roof Mounted Bike Rack
Yeah would love to get some info on this as well. Currently having a hard time deciding between roof mount and hitch mount.

Roof Mounted Bike Rack
I think a tow bar would ruin the whole look of an evoque! Roof mount all the way...
And I'm not been funny but what does it matter how the bike rack effects MPG? Either you need to take the bike or you don't? Lol
And your hardly going to keep the roof rack on 24/7.... Are you?!

RE: Roof Mounted Bike Rack
If you need a tow bar, don't need one 24/7 and are worried that the rear lines of the car will be spoiled get a de-mountable tow bar, and take off when you don't need it. I have one and when it is off there is a blanking plug for the receiver. Not sure if US style hitch receivers can be made de-mountable though.
