Road tax cost

Have seen differing prices published for the road fund license...if someone knows what the tax bands,and hence costs are,we (or just me perhaps) would love to know

Sd4 auto is band H £190 in second year. SD4 man is £130 as are TD4. Si4 is£245 Didn't take too much notice of the rate year one as it's lost in the £45,000 I'm paying

Yes,I get your point,but thanks anyway and,when I`m feeling poor I tell myself...it`s only money...

Si4s that were at York driving days were all £435 a year!

that's because of the extra first year showroom tax.

After the first year I'm saving >50% on my existing VED, almost 50% on my insurance and getting 30% better fuel economy than I get at present.................. ker-ching. Just the fuel cost savings in a year will pay my Insurance for the next year!

Me too road fund drops from £435 to £190 and mpg goes from 28 (petrol) to 44 (diesel). As you say kerching.
