Revere London Style

They wouldn't have done it if there wasn't somebody out there to buy it............................ even the badges are low rent and look like they came from a 1980's limited edition Metro.

I have to say, though it may not be to everyones taste, Revere should get a little bit more credit.

The owners of Revere (the Ripp family) have a long history in vehicle modifications/motorsport. Their engineers and staff are car enthusiasts and very knowledgeable.

The interior is garish but certainly catches the eye and if you look past the colour/diamond stiching you might actually appreciate what went in to re-trimming this vehicle. This wasn't simply new seat covers but the entire interior was dismantled and re-assembled allowing the engineers and designers to understand how the car was put together and ensure that whatever work they do is as good as Land Rovers, if not better.

In regards to the exterior, I think its quite smart and stylish. The wheels aren't to my taste but the colour coding is clever. Silver and white clash - black and white contrast. My one gripe with the dynamic in white is the silver accents and I quite like what they have done here. I was trying to figure out how to go about colour coding the lower trims and if I do it, I think their solution is the best. LR designers haven't made it easy as the lines of the lower trims overlap some of the anther accents (i.e the front bumper - when colour coded, the lower valance goes past the line of the upper white part).

Another thing I like is the idea of the black lettering to match the other black trim on the dynamic. I think the front and rear 'Range Rover' lettering in gloss black will look very smart on a white dynamic.

Back to my original point, obviously everyone is entitled to their opinion but just to let you know, the guys at Revere are skilled craftsmen and I wouldn't trust my car being with anyone but them.

I Agree with DDX. I'm sure tuners like Revere wouldn’t do it if customers weren’t out there. It is almost certainly aimed at a Football player / someone from the Middle East or someone who just wants to stand out. If we were all the same life would be boring.

I always change the wheels on my cars to bigger ones as I think it makes a car look better. I have even convinced my wife to liking modified cars. I don’t mean big exhaust pipes and chrome wheels just subtle modifications making my car different from the next chap.

I have owned Techart , Overfinch and on the Range Rover Sport we have Revere 22inch wheels fitted. I think the Revere conversions quality is equal if not better that what I have had before and after seeing their Evoque may even buy a set of their wheels when my one eventually gets here.

Not to my taste, but respect the effort and quality that must have gone into the overall customisation.

Curious what Overfinch will do, I think there line comes out in the new year.

Interestingly it looks like they started with a standard Dynamic ie no LUX pack. So whist I think some of the design solutions are clever i.e. Black Bumper inserts and colour co-ordinated hockey sticks ...... to pay £54k and not get some of the "standard" RRE luxuries is probably pushing it a bit.

£54k and no panoramic roof and no privacy glass to hide the embarrassment of your friends when you take them out in it!

Love the picture of the crappily pot riveted "Revere Hand built in England" plate, one of the holes looks like it was drilled too large and all the shavings left under it!
