Rear Seat Entertainment Screens

Hi - I have the rear seat screens. They seem to have a thin wobbly clear screen in front of the actual lcd. They are already rippled and look terrible, but seem to be fixed and can't be removed. Does anyone have any experience with RSE, is this the way they are supposed to look?

Thanks

I don't have RSE, but this video has a good live view 12 secs in.

RE: Rear Seat Entertainment Screens

Could you post or send me a picture of the complete head rest, showing the LCD screen please.
Two reasons. Will have a better ideal on the question that you ask & I'm working on a aftermarket rear DVD set up. Some pictures would help me out.

Just looked at mine, they are completely flat as you would expect them to be.
Maybe there is a protective film on them that was not taken off when it was prepped ?

evoque now gone, but not forgotten, on to bigger and better things

The rear screens on mine have no film on them whatsoever, I think the front screen has something in front of it, maybe for the touchscreen but as the rears aren't touchscreens they are like what you get on your indoor tv.
