RE: Kerbing their alloys? How are people finding their diff rims?

I slightly misjudged a corner at about 40mph recently, and felt a bump, and thought b@ll@**S !!

However, when I inspected the damage, there was none Laughing

(20" with Michelins - that 'lip' surely works!)

It's getting fixed as I type this. Man came to do it at the house. £40.

Ouch, lucky you can fix it in house.

So it seems to me that 18 and 19 in rims are pretty much drive anywhere and the tyre wall comes out enough to protect the alloy(certainly does on the 18in), and the 20in offers good protection, just a tad more caution in needed. Thxs for you responses everyone
