Plasti dipping parts?

Hi all

I've recently found out plasti dip and it seems to a much cheaper option to vinyl wrapping and much easier as well. I'm thinking of plasti dipping my side mirrors and grills...etc. Just wondering if anyone has done it before and whether it is safe to remove later on? Thanks in advance.

I have been looking at plastidip as well. Haven't seen any results in the flesh, photos and videos look good though.

My plasti dip spray has just arrived today. I'll be buying some masking tape and try it out. Will post the results if it looks good!

RE: Plasti dipping parts?

Thinking of plasti dip for my wheels, the shadow chrome has started to suffer, and thiough this could be a cheaper solution. Is there a glossifier available as well?

You can apply a clear coat on top of the plasti dip, though it will be very hard to peel off later on, it won't come off in one piece. There's a youtube video on this.
I will start to spray tomorrow because by the time I got home today it was dark.
