Overall size comparison

Sure some of this is elsewhere but I've just done some size comparisons (Evoque / FLander / Kia Sportage / Ford Kuga / RRSport)

Wheelbase 2660 / 2660 / 2640 / - / 2745
Overall length 4355 / 4500 / 4440 / 4443 / 4783
Height 1605Coupe 1635 / 1740 / 1645 / 1710 / 1789
Width inc Mirrors 2125 / 2195 / 1855 / 2128 / 2158

Make of this what you will - seems to be a bit of everything

Pure 3dr SD4 Tech Man ; Firenze Red ; 19" Style 3 ; Pano ; Ebony / Ivory Int ; Auto dim rear view ; 2 seats ; Park Aid - Rear cam ; Ext. folding mirrors ; Adap Xenon ; Fogs ; Mud Flaps ; Side Steps - Rec'd 28/12/11 - Sadly going 6/6/14 - Gone, now running BMW X6

LRX super-imposed onto a Range Rover Sport gives some idea of size

Looks like I will still need a set of aluminium steps on the drive to to reach high enough to wash the roof..............

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

I guess you will need to stand on something to reach the middle of the roof.

Spotted a Forester at lunch which got me wondering how it compares to the 5dr Evoque:
Wheelbase 2615 (-45)
Length 4560 (+205)
Height 1700 (+95)
Width 1795 (-330 I think this is including mirrors)
Boot 450 (-125)

RE: Overall size comparison

But the biggest let down with a Forrester in the UK is the interior - it's awful and made of 1970's hard plastic here, Mechanically it's a good competitor but not from a design/finish point of view - it's not anywhere close to the Evoque

The interior options Down Under aren't any better. Soobs have a good reputation in OZ but you get what you pay for. IMO the Japanese seriously need the Italians to do the styling; the Koreans are leaving them in their dust.

Here's an interesting one....The Evoque has a footprint very close to a Lamborghini Gallardo.....

GALLARDO
Length - 4345
Width - 1900mm
