I liked Havana in the configurator, ruled it out as soon as I saw some photos of actual cars. Looked like a greyish/muddy black. Not even a nice black, and I don't like black anyway. I suppose it might look better in real life.

Tim, have you seen one yet? They had a prestige one at LPR a couple of weeks ago but not sure if its still there as the showroom was completely empty when I dropped my car off on Wednesday. I was seriously considering Havana for my next one and having seen 3 now its a very nice colour albeit more brown than I wanted it to be. In gloomier light its a very warm grey although in the ones that I've seen I wouldnt have described them as black.

Not entirely certain I agree with Black - it does look dark on gloomy days its true though. Glorious in the sun!

Decided to change the colour from Havana to Santorini Black as I am still unsure of Havana under different light conditions. My build date is 9th November, Lookers Park Royal have confirmed that the spec can still be changed. Waiting for the final order sheet to be emailed through. I think Black with Tan will look quite good. Any opinions/photos of the combination I've chosen?

Great colour choice... think the interior will offset the exterior very nicely. I too had picked Havana originally, but changed to Barola Black. It seems we have ordered from the same dealer, but what I am surprised about is that whilst I ordered mine back at the end of July, I have exactly the same build date as you!

Arrived: Prestige SD4 Auto 5-Door, Barolo Black, Couture Interior, Style 5 Wheels, Lux Pack, Adaptive Dynamics, Adaptive Bi-Xenon Cornering Headlights w/ Auto Levelling, Privacy Glass, Heated Steering Wheel, Space Saver Spare Wheel, TPM System, Mud Flaps

RE: Ordered Havana Evoque Sd4

Thanks for your input Samson, I ordered on the last weeks of July as well. There's a chance that if both our cars are built on the same day, they might be transported to the dealer together providing that there are no delays.

RE: Ordered Havana Evoque Sd4

Got a call from the dealer today, my evoque was built yesterday! Scheduled build date was 9th Nov. I've been told it hasnt left the factory yet. Hoping to get the car next weekend (10th Nov) or soon after.

I asked about paint protection and was quoted £250 for Guard X, is that a good deal or can anyone recommend where in London I can get it done?

RE: Ordered Havana Evoque Sd4 (changed colour to Santorini Black)

Ask the guys in Lookers if they do the job on site or send the car to a specialist. I'm sure mine was sent to GardX to be done. I've been very pleased with it and would do it again. It's certainly lasted much longer than I expected and the glass treatment on the side glass is fantastic even 14 months out from application the water still just beads and runs off them.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Wow! I also got a call from the same dealer but mine is still scheduled for 9 Nov. Should be with me before end Nov, but may ask for collection to be pushed back to first week of Dec.
