Perhaps 'Still in finishing' is Landrover speak for '****ing big spanner fallen through panoramic roof?' I hope not! Sorry to make light of your concerns....and I hope your Evoque arrives soon, looking as pristine as my havana/expresso/tan/ivory example.

Well my car is now late officially. was supposed to be at the dealer for the 1st september.

Have to say though, my dealer have sorted me out a loan car until it arrives. a 12 plate freelander HSE
its not all doom and gloom.

When I went to the factory on the 31st August! There were hundreds of Pure and Prestige vehicles sat there waiting for parts, mainly the rear right handside cover near the bumper.

From what I remember from other posts the cover is something that doesn't get attached until delivery at the dealer. I know not why.

So in reality it's not waiting.

Chuckie - Iirc, I believe you are correct!

It doesn't get put in place because the transport securing eye/ recovery eye is under that cover
