RE: Option after oder

Both Sport and the big RR have it as standard now, but I haven't heard any mention of it even being considered for Evoque - may be Land Rover considers us owners all to be young enough and strong enough not to need remote closing and the oldies with RRS and FFRR need a bit of help....................

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Smile Made me laugh Tim

My closer unit will be cheaper than buying a new control unit anyway... £40 to forum members... I have 1 in stock Wink
I'm actually surprised how often I use my mine to close the tailgate remotely now, even though I've not had a knee on the dash opener button incident for a while to need it Laughing

Thanks Doug for the answers above by the way!

Wow, didn't know there was an opener on the dash!
In my defence, it is my wife's car and I don't get to drive it that often.

No dealer here in Belgium, knows do this.
They say that if you have not ordered this option initially, it is unclear add thereafter.
Is this possible in England?
My car was commissioned in September and will be delivered in late December, nobody knows someone in the plant that could add this option?

Option after oder

I'll ask my dealer here on Monday, as I was planning on calling in.

Somewhere in the North Sea.

So, had a chat with my dealer and he said it would be possible but it wouldn't come cheap!

Which makes sense as you need new struts, which aren't cheap and then the switches and cables.

But it is possible.

Somewhere in the North Sea.
