One Week Away!!

Hi All,

My first post on the forum as my new Evoque is now almost here - delivery next Tuesday!! It's been a long wait since May!! Taking delivery of a MY16 SE Tech 5dr in Corris Grey and Cirrus/Lunar Interior. Factory extras are Santorini Black contrast roof/spoiler, 19" 10-spoke 'Style 103' alloys and Privacy Glass. I also have a list of extra bits to fit myself:

Black Range Rover lettering front and back kit
Black Land Rover badges front and back
Black 'evoque' boot badge
Black dummy vents
Black side steps
Black exhaust tips

As you can see i'm going for a complete Grey/Black contrast finish.

I will post some pics once all is fitted!!

Hi and welcome. That sounds a very nice combo can't wait for pics.

Pics attached - unfortunately it doesn't look like the weather is going to get better any time soon so it all looks a bit grim I'm afraid. I will post better pics at a later point when we have some better weather. These should give an idea of how the car looks with the new additions. The quality isn't great due to file size limitations.

I decided to leave the side steps and larger exhuast tips chrome as I thought they would look a bit lost if I painted them black and would keep the bottom of the car lighter with wheels, steps, exhausts and bumper inserts not black / corris - I may still do it at a later date though. I forgot to take before pics but the changes I have made are:

Black Range Rover lettering front and back kit

Black 'evoque' boot badge
Black dummy vents
Side steps
Larger exhaust tips

I thought that the bonnet vents were now standard on all versions for 2016MY? Maybe it's only whetever the Dynamic is now called that gets them on both versions.

I believe the only 5 door MY16 models that have the bonnet vents are the Dynamic variants
