What Car are reporting people are willing to pay a 15percent premium. Have you tried a specialist dealer? They may take it off your hands.

I really dont think people should be allowed by JLR to change orders like this and profiteer, it should be either cancel it all together or buy it yourself as ordered.

My advice to anyone tempted would be to insist on a letter from the dealer consenting to the order being reassigned before parting with any money. Most dealers do not like order-book shenanigans.
As for deciding to switch from the Evoque to an R8 or an "aston", the cars could not be more different. Have you checked out AM depreciation? Last time I met an ex-Aston Martin owner, he'd lost £54k in 18 months.
Besides, do you know they say about AM ownership? The two happiest days in an Aston Martin owner's life are the day they buy and the day they sell.
