RE: New videos

Could this be a country-specific thing? I vaguely remember something similar at the time when dark smoked lights were popular but forbidden in some countries.
/ LP beat me with this answer Wink

The black wheels are probably an aftermarket / dealer accessory.

They're just a black version of the 'Style 8' 9 spoke Polished Silver 20" wheels.

RE: New videos

US light modules have to have orange side reflectors in them, they are not lights - I had the reflectors in the units on my last Sport removed at the same time as having the row of LEDs fitted in the head lamp units, sometimes there is also a lamp holder in there too, but not on my RRS

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Hi Paulus,

I have also ordered a Prestige Fuji White, but with ambiance interior. I think the Cirrus leather is grey... Do you know what the color is grey or beige?

RE: New videos

Hi pimbrokken, yes the Cirrus/Lunar is grey, Cirrus is a light grey and covers seats and front of dash panel, Lunar is a darker grey and is used for the contrast stitching and top of the dash (instrument panel).

The Ambiance interior you have ordered is a light beige (ivory really) for seats and front of dash panel, Espresso (a darkish brown) is used for the contrast stitching and top of the dash (instrument panel).

A combination of these colours are also used on the door panels.

To be honest the Espresso on the dash top was what put me off ordering the Ambiance interior, it just didn't do anything for me in the photographs I have seen - could be great in the 'flesh' though and obviously it's down to personal preference.

Agree. Every shot of the cars is so short the entire video tells you nothing. Needs to be played in slow motion.

RE: New videos

Not a video, but Autocar have a nice little story about the Evoque in this weeks magazine. It's not too detailed, but basically it's about how they have managed to fit everything into a relatively small package, i.e. a high floor and a low roofline and still fit people in! Not suprisingly the article is titled 'Evoque: a quart in a pint glass'
It also has a comparison table of off road ability against the RR Sport, Audi Q5 and BMW X1, and no Alex this was not based on the Dynamic Smile
I couldn't find the article on line and it's probably not worth buying the mag just for that, but it's worth a read next time you are in the newsagents browsing the shelves (not the top ones obviously)

I thought the other interesting bits of the article were .. the 5 door Evoque has 35mm MORE headroom than a RRS and only 20mm less effective legroom.

Who would have thought.........

I know what you mean, it just doesn't seem possible Shocked
Does that make you any more confident about making the switch?
