RE: New Signature lights
This is the exact thought I had when I first looked at the 2016 Evoque..Why did they change the signature lights???
But then I saw that the new body shape on the 2016's actually complements the new signature lights.

I feel the old and the new ones complement their respective body styles very well and are far ahead of any other vehicle's LED's.
Also like the tail lights on the newer one.

RE: New Signature lights
I think they look gorgeous, so much that I order this ones http://www.ebay.com/itm/RANGE-ROVER-EVOQ...24?vxp=mtr
I sent them to Drew's Garage to try to mod them to fit my 2015, unfortunately they only have 9 pins which is making very difficult to decode. still hopeful though otherwise will make them into paper waits.

RE: New Signature lights
I liked the original signatures as they helped make the car look even more different, I also like the new ones as they signify that things have moved on since 2011 when the Mk1 was released. I also like the new style rear lights but it seems odd that some cars I see have them on in the daytime and others not, I thought all Evoques (and also now all RRS2's) had rear DRL's after pressure from owners on this forum. Maybe it has something to do with having the Auto-On setting selected?
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: New Signature lights
Tim, this has been a bone of some contention on the EOC forum. The conclusion at the moment is that no MY16 Evoques have DRLs on the rear except possibly those with LED headlights... and we haven't found anyone daft (or rich) enough to have paid a grand for said LEds to ask yet!
On order for Nov: SE Tech Coupe, 180bhp, 9 speed auto, pano roof, privacy glass, spare wheel, Auto High Beam, Rear camera, 5 year service pack, Active Driveline, Aintree Green, Almond/Espresso.

As a new (daft l) member and owner of a MY16 Dynamic HSE with LED package, the DRL's do not include the rear lights.

That's very interesting Barry. The daft bit didn't really apply to Americans, y'all have far too much money to worry about anyway!
Also, there may well be a difference in U.S. v U.K. specs but thanks very much for chipping in.
Best regards
walt
