Interesting point is that at 50mph the car doesn't slip into 9th.
Maybe it's just the built in software fooling me with the mpg figures but do I really care, no not one bit, I didn't buy the Evoque for mpg but for style, looks.

Well that's no change over the 6 speeder as that was reluctant to go into 6th lower than 54mph!
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Mine goes into 6th at 50mph and still stays in it if you drop down to 48, but acceleration is really sluggish if you don't downshift. I'm still averaging about 32mpg.
5 door MY12 Fuji Dynamic Plus with shadow chromes, santorini contrast roof, power tailgate and a couple of added rattles!
Mods - Black RR bonnet vents, Side steps, Silicone rear wiper, rear sill protector, rear sill plates, LED interior lighting conversion, 2014 Sat Nav update.

Over 16400 miles my 6speed auto coupe managed an average of 36mpg with a tankful best of 42mpg that was obtained on a run from Lancaster to Park Royal in London where I had miles and miles of 50mph speed restriction on the M42 round. Birmingham. Over-all I was happy with the the last car's fuel consumption, but it was disappointing that LR hyped it up so much as it was well off the mark with the claims that it could achieve 49mpg in SD4 auto form on the combined cycle. Looking forward to having less fill ups with the new one when it arrives.

Plus your new one won't look as dirty as quickly as the fuji! I need to wash mine weekly!

M_101, your right the Zanzibar hides the dirt better then I expected. Tim you will also notice that the colour for the volume etc in the centre display has changed to Zanzibar as well. 😀

And is the colour of the car in the TFT screen in the dash the body colour as well? In my last FFRR it was but I never really noticed in my last Evoque if the car icon matched the body colour as it was a white car anyway.

No that's still white. I just adjust the volume no and again if someone's in the car and point out how it matches the colour of the car.
