My Evoque is making high pitch squeaky noise?
Hello
Looking to get some help of this form
Today when I went to work my car was working just fine when I was coming back from work I turned on my car and when I Accelerated more than 30 km/h it started making the noise it’s a high pitch noise and engine light came on...
I thinks it’s timing belt or Serpentine Belt. My mechanic is not working this weekend so I will have to get it checked out on Monday.
My evoque is 2013 model and just over 88K
Anyone had similar issue or what can it be ?

was it a turbo noise or was it belts?

It’s hard to tell. I am not sure but when I accelerate it doesn’t pick up .. My RPM goes to like 7-8 and pick up is slow.
I hope it’s not a turbo because that would be more expensive.
Any idea on cost of Reid for either belt or turbo ?
It happen so sudden
