Looks like the passenger wiper arm will no longer hit the back of the bonnet if raised too!

RE: MY2014

Looking at the pictures (from previous link), I derive the SD4 to be the silver one and the white one being the petrol version.
The front/nose section on the petrol version looks much bigger & lower than the diesel version which looks a bit thinner.
Or am I being fooled by the camera?

Adaptive Cruise a control???
Looks like they have just colour coded the side parts of the grill too.

RE: MY2014

Judging by the photos, Dumbo's ears have gone too.... The mirror covers are a lot smaller / less chunky. No indicator light though as is the case on our current cars.

Also the Prestige (Silver car) has black grill now (albeit with the silver trim at the sides) and seems to have lost the silver waist trim - of course this could all just be pre production cars so not reflective of final spec.

Can you at least tell us the date of the embargo so that we will at least know when to expect some new info? Thanks.

RE: MY2014

Well the black box behind the grill could be adaptive cruise, but it could also be the clever Volvo city crash prevention system or a sensor for a night vision system like Mercedes has........... Or it just be there to fool everybody into thinking there will be a new gadget! " let's stick a Tupperware box painted black behind the grille and see what the forum readers think it might be!"

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: MY2014

I saw another my2014 last week on the m40, with the adaptive cruise curved trim in the centre just like the volvos and new vw golf and also the smaller wing mirrors, looked great.

Mine has been great 50000miles and same tyres, one set of rear pads.

One of the best cars I have had, I hope the new one is even better.

Here's my MY2014 wiper conversion, works great and wipers hidden under bonnet away from fly splatting and ice/ snow build up

Found the picture of the car
