MPG... What's the problem?

But regardless of software update (if its just the numbers on the screen) wouldnt you still be seeing the frequent numbers of trips to petrol station staying the same ? or does the software update physically affect petrol consumption... if so Im going to dealer ASAP !

17 mpg... I think your just been silly... No one on here has reported that bad mpg at all. An s3 has nothing on an evoque. And there completely different cars. You might as well compare a Prius to a hummer and then complain... Pointless argument

the conclusion is RR make false advertising regarding the mpg, or is a secret driving mode, or some of us are schumacher.

No its a rather simplistic Standard approved test, that all manufacturers tune their engines to to get the best figures, these are the only figures manufacturers are allowed to publish, trouble is the test doesn't reflect real users in real life.

I think is the same, RR maybe did the test in the "ideal" condition and we are not aware. I know the ideal mpg is with 90 km/h on highway and 55 km/h in city. if they tested the car down hill, with the wind from behind ...etc then is not relevant. so...

don't know, you tell me. If they can do it, we can do it.

It's done in a lab to very specific conditions...
