I've been saying this for years. When I was with many others trying to support the workers who were going to lose their British jobs building British cars in a British factory in Longbridge, Birmingham there was on one occasion I was there 2 Police cars by the factory gates - A Renault & Peugeot. I went over & said your bosses are taking the p*** & should be ashamed of themselves.

I think some forces have been critised for buying Kia rather than the British built Astra.

I imagine that their response is that we tax payers aren't giving them enough money to buy British made SUVs,

We buy American only. The undercover cars are whatever they can get on a raid
