Looking forward to Saturday!!!

Hi all

Get my new Evoque Pure Tech in White with sunscreen glass on Saturday with the mods already started:-
Black Front Grill and Fog Surrounds
Black around the side repeaters and Above the rear number plate
White to the bottom of the front spoiler, side skirts and rear bumper.
LED Lights to the internal
22" Hawke Alloys
Retro fitting Front fogs.
Black Range Rover Badging
De badge Land rover of the rear tailgate
Stainless rims to the speakers on the doors
Booked in for remap on Monday.
New floor mats (£160 what a rip off!!!)

Will post some pictures when I get it.

Really looking forward to it as I have had Q5's in the past and nearly bought a Q3, then made the mistake of popping into our local Range Rover dealer..... the rest is history!!

Only just found the site, looks really helpful!.

Thanks
G

RE: Looking forward to Saturday!!!

Hi

Thanks for the welcome.
A lot of the mods are being carried out before I take delivery tomorrow at the dealership, at least this way some of the hassle is out of the way!
That being said I have just bought a Dynamic Rear bumper from ebay so will need to get that painted and fitted now, hopefully it should be worth it?Smile

RE: Looking forward to Saturday!!!

Well, its been a couple of days now since I got the car, really pleased with it so far! Had a few of the mods done, 22" wheels, colour coding, stainless rims to tweeters, black Range Rover Lettering and plush floor mats. ALso found a rear Dynamic bumper on ebay at the weekend so having that sprayed at the minute, just got to get the exhaust tips fitment.
Really pleased with how it looks however I think it might need lowering slightly to really suit the wheels, so homework in progress to find out the best and most cost effective set up.
Hopefully this weekend I should be fitting the Range Rover Evoque bonnett vents, once delivery arrives from Dan at Duckworths (who has been very helpful) along with attempting the fitting of the front fogs.
Will keep you informed how it goes.

RE: Looking forward to Saturday!!!

Well! after reading the reviews on carrying out the fog lights conversion yourself I thought I would put an hour or two aside today to get them done.... Ouch !!!!!!

As already mentioned on another post, this can be a bit painful and include a lot of swearing but worth it in the end!!

In my temper I kept forgetting to take photos, however here are a few.

The drivers side was really difficult, with the water reservoir in the way, however with a little gentle persuasion I finally got it inWink. When putting them in I used self tapping screws and screwed from outside in, this seemed to make the job a lot easier! Anyway its done now and I'm really pleased with how they look. Next job, lowering springs!

Just watch out for the forum number plate police.................. otherwise it looks a good job well done.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
