Alphera

I'm in the hunt for finance too. The Dealer quote was pretty good actually. What makes you recommend Alphera Jai? I'd never heard of them before.

They have no early exit fees AT ALL. My rate was very good as well, I should imagine it would be lower now as the official cash rate has dropped half a percent since I got it. I'm about 6.8% from memory.

Alphera is fine, we did all our checks on them. Pretty good rates available but don't be afraid to look elsewhere if they don't offer a decent one - dealer often influences it.

My previous car was with Alphera, so I am aware of the no early exit fee. I did call to check their rate two months back, but the rate was very very high..something like 9%!! And the guy I spoken to wasn't very keen to do business with me (not helpful, impatience).
So I wasn't happy with the way they treat a return customer!

I couldn't recall which finance LR is using. But I remember the dealer told me their finance has no penalty for early settlement.

Maybe I will get a quote from Alphera for 1 last time...

And 1 thing I don't understand....how come it takes two weeks to hand over?! That's a bit long is it?

Hi guys my car is coming in 2 weeks and I just got a quote from LR dealer and they said they can give me 6.1%. now i'm comparing this quote with other companies/bank and to see if they can beat it....I'm not just looking at the rate, i'm also looking at the fees, acc keeping fee, and exit fee....will keep you all posted!!

I get bored of cars easily so exit fees play a big part in the overall picture

Damn it. No car for me! Turns out the dealer messed it up and had assigned me a manual. My check on Topix turned up that vehicle I'd been assigned was not an auto as per the contract. Damn it. Back to the drawing board. Good thing i checked though! Might as well stop tracking that ship now!
