Upgrade interior plastic surrounds.
Hi all.
Whilst my car is having a couple of issues fixed, i have a loaned Evoque which is really nice. more lush interior than mine.
I noticed that the plastic surround by the door handles and the window switches, is a gloss black. Mine is matt black. Is it possible to get these parts?
Also the cover over the center console storage is gloss black.
I think it just adds to the interior.

There are a couple of ways. If you have a good trim shop and you can order the parts, you'll get the exact stuff. But there are after market companies as well... not sure which way would be more expensive.
Just an example:

2013 Dynamic USA specs with MagneRide + Strata wood int. with Lunar perf. Ork Grey.
BMW K1200R. Black.

You could try asking Dan at Duckworth's - they are probably available for crash damaged cars.

They're all standard parts so you can look up the part numbers at lrparts.ru

Be careful what you wish for. There are a few previous posts which seriously criticise these shiny gloss parts for being easily scratched and marked and I'm sure they wont come cheap in the first place.

The cover for the centre tunnel cupholder is especially easily scratched

even the exterior glossy black parts are easily scratched,
but this isn't a LR issue;
all glossy parts easily scratch.

RE: Upgrade interior plastic surrounds.
I loved my gloss black trim bits in my Dynamic Evoque 7 when I first drove a Pure I thaught the matt grey looked drab & them when I ordered my Pure Tech I did have that concern in my mind that I would regret selling the Dynamic.
I considered ordering the centre console tunnel cover in gloss black @ around £73 I believe but never bothered.
I'm not going to bother doing any of them now as I think the matt grey is fine & probably wears a lot better & in fact it goes very well with the Cirrus trim I have.
