Incontrol tracker
The helpful people at Landrover Incontrol have phoned me on 3 separate occasions to let me know that my car has been stolen.
twice i was actually in the car and driving at the time. The other time I could see it through the window. No alarms or messages on the car though.
Goes back to the dealer next week for a new telematics module, but wondered if this had happened to anyone else?
The tracker is part of the SOS function. car is a 2015 year dynamic lux.

RE: Incontrol tracker
At least you know it is working after a fashion! My concern with the system is that it all depends on the keyfob................... nobody at Land Rover seems to realise that once the (cloned) fob is recognised no amount of fancy immobilisers and trackers are going to automatically call for help as the car thinks it has been opened by a legitimate key when it hasn't. The only peace of mind is that you can see where the car is going to on the internet (if you have a good 3g signal or the scrotes who took it haven't used a jammer on the system) after it has gone.
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Incontrol tracker
Hope the tracker works inside a shipping container, because that's where it will normally end up.

RE: Incontrol tracker
All this in control debacle reminds me of the Inter City APT train British Rail trialed in 1977 that they tested & could never get to work. Hornby Model Railways brought a model of it out that did work lol.
As usual BR didn't spend the money & sold the idea to the Germans who perfected it!!
Also a bit like the Digi - Dash systems in the Maestro & Montego that were under developed & now used commonly in French rubbish. Good to see some of the old company lives on today!
