I've been a naughty boy.

Had the current evoque for 8 months now and still love it, but there are a few things I wish I had specked. So sent a little text message to my salesman (we have that kind of relationship) and he is now working hard trying to do me a good deal on a 13MY evoque.

The new spec would be:

TD4 pure (a grand extra for a few more horses and an extra tail pipe, won't be happening )
White
Style 4 19 wheels
(So, externally the car would look the same as I'm happy with that combo.)

Fogs
Auto lights/wipers
Powerfold mirrors
Xenons
Heated steering wheel
825w sound system or do I take the pano roof.

It all depends if my salesmans calculator has a figure on it I like.

3 or 5 doors J?

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

I always said to myself if I change I would go for a 3dr but at the moment it's still a 5dr but I am tempted to go for the 3dr.

RE: I've been a naughty boy.

I'd save a grand and go for the 5 door, and spec the pano and ditch the sound system.

Better resale value on the 5 door

Money in the bankWink

Arrived 16th December 2011: 5 door Prestige SD4 auto in Barolo black with ambience interior, pano roof, privacy and 20" style 6 alloys.Very Happy

I've been a naughty boy.

5 door ruins the look for me... The evoque is about style! And the coupe has plenty of rear passenger space anyway

RE: I've been a naughty boy.

Will be sticking with the TD4 as I can't see much difference between the to manuals performance wise, and refuse to pay a grand more for an extra exhaust and some more horses.

RE: I've been a naughty boy.

Probably agree about Td4 (absolutely fine in my Freelander), but worth considering the auto tailgate (can't recall price though).

Arrived 16 December 2011: Prestige SD4 auto 5dr in OG with Adaptive Dynamics, Adaptive Xenons, Surround Cameras, Auto Dimming Rearview, Grey Oak Wood, Spare Wheel and Powered Tailgate.

Joining 2010 Freelander XS Td4e in Stornoway Grey (we like Grey!)

RE: I've been a naughty boy.

I have the auto tailgate, it the best option I chose, dont think I will buy another car without it. IMO
