Yes, mine is an SD4, and 8.1L/100km is a lot for diesels. With Bangkok traffic, it's really difficult to go below 7.5.

Parked in the sun all day and didn't close pano roof blind, got the IR Thermometer out at last while sun was out

Air Temp : 22°C
Pano Roof : 45°C
Leather drivers Seat : 44°C
Steering Wheel : 48°C
Dashboard (in sunlight) : 63°C !!!

Phil can you do it again with the blind shut so we can see the difference? Please....

Will do, although I can't guarantee the same test conditions or when!
