How basic is out of the box pure?

Hi, I'm here from the D4 forum, looking to add the 3rd LR to our driveway!

Looking at the eD4 or maybe TD4 pure and the only option I'm thinking we would need is metallic paint.

In this guise it looks remarkable value but question is would my wife, coming from a well specced A3, miss anything spec wise? I think not but any owners out there with similar base level cars got any input?

Cheers

BB

Check the spec on the LR builder site but I think you will find the spec pretty good. Though If the Audi has sat-nav add the Tech pack which boosts the goodie spec up!

Came Home On 02/03/13 Pure Tech In Barolo Black/Cirrus Trim with Bespoke Firenze Ascents + Numerous Factory Options!!
Also :-

Rover 25GSi - 2005 Everyday Car.
MG ZR-Express Van - 2005 Special Factory Order (Literally a one off).
MG Montego 2.0i - 1990 Shows/Sunny Days.
MG Metro 1300 - 1983 Being Restored!

Not got nav in the Audi. I struggle to justify the cost option when VERY good Tom toms are just over £100!

I've got nav on the D4 but it's standard on HSE and that's the car we do the LNG distances in.

I've looked at spec on LR site and think it looks great!

If ordered this week when are est delivery dates?

Depends on where you order from but I would guess June/July 2012.

You need to spec the front fogs imho. It just doesnt look right without them.

Some frustrations with the Pure:

You get DAB but can't get heated washer jets (without spending £1.7k on a package)
Agree with fog light comment
leather is good quality compared to my 5 series
Not many people leave them on 18" wheels
No mats!

MY16 HSE Dynamic Scotia Grey with Lunar/Ice Interior. 508's, Pano Roof, Privacy, Auto Tailgate, Heated s/wheel, spare

I think the pure is by far the best value model. Its what I have on order too in td4 spec.

The only options i have goe for are metallic paint (a must i think), front fogs (change the look of the front end), automatic wipers/lights (used to them from my last two cars).

Other than that I think i has everything i need from a car.

Adding 4k in options detracts from the value in my opinion.
