How basic is out of the box pure? - BournvilleBazza - 09-12-2011 11:32pm Hi, I'm here from the D4 forum, looking to add the 3rd LR to our driveway! Looking at the eD4 or maybe TD4 pure and the only option I'm thinking we would need is metallic paint. In this guise it looks remarkable value but question is would my wife, coming from a well specced A3, miss anything spec wise? I think not but any owners out there with similar base level cars got any input? Cheers BB RE: How basic is out of the box pure? - The Valeter - 09-12-2011 11:58pm Check the spec on the LR builder site but I think you will find the spec pretty good. Though If the Audi has sat-nav add the Tech pack which boosts the goodie spec up! Though If the Audi has sat-nav add the Tech pack which boosts the goodie spec up! Not got nav in the Audi. I struggle to justify the cost option when VERY good Tom toms are just over £100! I've got nav on the D4 but it's standard on HSE and that's the car we do the LNG distances in. I've looked at spec on LR site and think it looks great! If ordered this week when are est delivery dates? Depends on where you order from but I would guess June/July 2012. Wow that's an age!! I'll chat to the dealer tomorrow Cheers RE: How basic is out of the box pure? - Daigriff - 10-12-2011 12:44am You need to spec the front fogs imho. It just doesnt look right without them. RE: How basic is out of the box pure? - Acwats - 10-12-2011 09:11am Some frustrations with the Pure: You get DAB but can't get heated washer jets (without spending £1.7k on a package) Agree with fog light comment leather is good quality compared to my 5 series Not many people leave them on 18" wheels No mats! RE: How basic is out of the box pure? - ED209 - 10-12-2011 11:09am I think the pure is by far the best value model. Its what I have on order too in td4 spec. The only options i have goe for are metallic paint (a must i think), front fogs (change the look of the front end), automatic wipers/lights (used to them from my last two cars). Other than that I think i has everything i need from a car. RE: How basic is out of the box pure? - ZuluKZN - 10-12-2011 11:29am Hi, just took delivery of a Fuji white Pure SD4 (plus tech and style packs) on Wed and I had a contrast roof and wing mirrors done in black.....am very pleased with my choice!!! Absolutely agree that it is the best value model!!! Good luck with your decision making RE: How basic is out of the box pure? - ED209 - 10-12-2011 11:48am (10-12-2011 11:29am)ZuluKZN Wrote: Hi, just took delivery of a Fuji white Pure SD4 (plus tech and style packs) on Wed and I had a contrast roof and wing mirrors done in black.....am very pleased with my choice!!!
