RE: Help!!!! interior choice
No different to any other of the Terrain Response functions. Dynamic mode doesn't do anything to the engine/gearbox it only remaps the suspension and steering. However if you turn the gear selector to S then you would notice a BIG difference as the gearbox holds on right to the rev limiter or your mechanical sympathy cuts in and you pull the + paddle and shift up a gear!

RE: Help!!!! interior choice
Cheers Tim, so with your experience, would it be best to leave it in dynamic mode??

RE: Help!!!! interior choice
Most folks say that they cannot feel any difference in the suspension firmness, but the car does corner a little flatter than in normal setting. The electric power assistance on the steering firms up too - and not to forget the dash board lighting turns from white to red! I use the Dynamic setting on twisty country roads and long motorway hauls, in normal driving it depends if I want to drive in a spirited manner or not. According to LR the suspension setting in Dynamic adjusts 1000 times a second or something - basically what it does is adjust the current going to the Magneride strut system to adjust the ride to keep the car comfy but flat. I drive most of the time in the normal setting.

RE: Help!!!! interior choice
I would have preferred a configurable TFT flatscreen dash like I had the FFRR that preceeded my Evoque, especially seeing as the Evoque is such a hi-tech car. It's not that I don't like the red dash, I think its a bit "low rent" and "Max Power"

Yeah Standard mode (Special modes off) is perfect for normal driving, and the Adaptive dampers work in all modes, they just create a different effect. I only use Driving mode when pushing on or going round fast country lanes, otherwise it's too stiff.

RE: Help!!!! interior choice
Just been going through the configured vehicle spec of my new Dynamic SD4 that my dealer gave me a copy off and under the standard and included features, it says it will be fitted with the efficient drive line. I thought this was only going to be fitted to the si4 to begin with???
