Hello Everybody!

Hi everyone!

After a 5 month wait, I received my baby RR this week.

5D Orkney Grey Si4 Dynamic
Black panoramic top
Verve interior
Style 6 wheels painted gloss black

This will be my daily. Previously drove an R56 Mini Cooper S but gave that to my brother as he has just passed his driving exam. I also have an e89 Z4 for those sunny weekends ahead.

I love the look of the Evoque, especially that low and wide roofline. It has so much presence for the type of vehicle it is.

Only really been on the motorway so far, so can't really comment too much, but it feels light on its feet. It is an easy car to cruise in and the 2.0 engine is adequate. Expected it to be underpowered slightly, although a more powerful engine would be nice (supercharged V6 from the F-Type anyone?). Haven't been able to find an ideal driving position yet but that'll come with more drive time.

However, I find the steering too light for my taste, even in Dynamic Mode. I could also use a lower steering ratio. Does anyone know if it's variable?

As for the interior, the head unit is more responsive than I expected. After hearing all the negative comments on here, I find it quite good. However, I'm not used to touch screens. I often find myself reaching for the gear selector.

Overall, the look is what drew me to the car. I work in the creative field so I really appreciate good design. I could stare at it all day.

Two very nice cars... I will be attentive on our road... I am sure we will meet us on the road... funny thing, I had also a Mini Cooper S before the Evoque, but a Clubman.

I fully agree to install the V6 3.0 of the F-Type on the Evoque... with the same exhaust system and the same sound !!! So amazing !!
