RE: Had to call LR Assist this morning!

There is also a new type of battery fitted to the earlier cars that suffer this problem, it was fitted to mine by LRA after the 3rd time the battery died and hopefully it is OK this winter, but then I don't have the car any longer to know or be bothered Wink and hope and pray that my new one doesn't suffer the same issue. My old Defender has only a clock to power from it's battery and that seems to last months and months in a cold dry shed provided the shed doesn't become a deepfreeze. It has a trickle charger on it just incase and is only on it's 2nd battery in 17 years.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
