I feel that this 'nerdness' may actually be worthy of a warning from the moderator!

Also, where are the photos!

RE: Friday 9th................

Tim - Thank goodness for that! You need to keep Matt at the dealership until midnight and drive off at 00:01 on 09/09/11!!!

Is it as expected? Sorry I wasn't there today but I understand that my Deputy Geek looked after you?

See you tomorrow Eve.

RE: Friday 9th................

James, it's better! Makes the RRS and FFRR look desperately old fashioned now! The trim and fittings are way better than those in my FFRR. If this is what LR can do for a "baby" my god the L405 isn't half going to be a corker!
I'm also glad mine doesn't have the black IP strip, the faux brushed aluminium really lifts the interior, even with the panoramic roof blind closed it helps brighten the interior

I hope you've been practising your speech for tomorrow night, the guys tell me you will be giving us the full history of Land Rover and telling us all about the development of Evoque!

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

I'm green with envy and very glad no bets were placed on Tim not posting.
I hope I get more news on my build date tomorrow at the VIP do.
Looking forward to it.

RE: Friday 9th................

BTW, can confirm that DvDs can be played on the nav screen even without the dual view or rear screens. I have no photos because the car isn't PDI'd yet and still wrapped in all the transport junk

Is this DVD comment relevant to all units or only upgraded?

Whilst u sit there, pls work out how to fudge the stereo and put mp3/wma files onto the HDD!

RE: Friday 9th................

CJ that is far too hitech for me, I'm happy to listen to the radio while I'm driving and I don't think I have ever played a CD in the player of any of my cars that have had them. Bring back compact cassettes I say
