Extended Warranty... :|

Strange, my number plate works fine :/

It works for me and my car still has 2 years factory warranty left to run!

I think once you let your extended warranty lapse they will not renew it, that's what it said on the Booklet I received. I took that as a threat to get you to continue it, so rebelled against it. Mine comes up, but also says "Sorry there are no products that match your vehicle details"

I've literally just renewed for £700....

Still not doing it, but a bit (more) pissed off at the rather obvious £200 dealer markup

I bought it from my local dealer who had a price list that matched online. Are you sure they didn't get you mixed up with say a RRS?

No, they didn't... I think they spent it on sending me a personalised printed brochure detailing the prices.
To be honest, my local dealership is not the greatest, either price wise or service wise, I've always struggled with them... I've only stuck with them because of convenience.

My first year is almost up, and I too received a nice slick pamphlet from the General Manager of my dealer to get the extended warranty. Haven't followed up on the price. They must be on a corporate wide campaign to boost sales of EWs.
