Evoque to be a film star

Just been reading in the latest edition of Land Rover Owner International that the new Bond movie - Skyfall - that is filming at the moment will have Bond driving an Evoque................ and a Defender. JLR has supplied 70 cars to the film makers for use during filming. LR's have featured before - in Casino Royale there was an awful Maya Gold RRS with brown fabric upholstery and FFRR's and Defenders have been seen in The Living Daylights

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

So it's official then! Can't wait! I'm thinking there will be a manual tranny as when Bond is being chased by baddies there is little time to wait for the rising of the auto selector!

I think he'll need more than a manual box to outrun baddies in an Evoque, unless he's being chased by a Reliant Robin Smile

RE: Evoque to be a film star

oh boy, I'm sure bond will seduce someone atleast with those romantic mood lights.

and what if he accidentally press the tail gait button while unbuttoning his pants. Poor bond has to step out in the middle of chase (or climax) to close it.... LT should give one with welded trunk.

Smile

Black/Black Dynamic (with missing dynamic button), 4dr and a tailgate, stadium seats with butt warmer, extra large moon roof for kids clustrophobia, velcro surface card board floor mats, factory installed humming accessory and the famous "Wind noise-rattle package".

RE: Evoque to be a film star

The big question for me is, will he take the evoque off road?

I think he will because the Evoque is the most stylish way to go off road these days.

RE: Evoque to be a film star

Tailgate opener is an option on UK spec cars invoke so he's safe from that one unless he specced the option........... he'll have problems converting the seats to a bed if he has a coupe too, it will take way too long for Bond to run the seat forward to get the lady in the back............
