Evoque manual gearbox location

Hi all.
Can someone please tell me where is located gearbox in Evoque eD4 2.2 MY2012 ?

From time to time when I start driving off I can hear loud noise coming from underneath on the driver side. This is now happening more frequently and only when starting drive off......
Could this be the gearbox fault or something else?
