Evoque Pure SD4 Coupe arrives Tuesday

Thanks to google I came across this forum. I had ordered a Evoque Pure TDI Coupe in white a few weeks ago after attending one of the pre launch days in Cardiff, the build date was going to be January and so I was looking at delivery for the 1st March.

My local dealer loaned me their demonstrator over the weekend and I so didn't want to give it back on Monday. Happened to mention to the dealer if a car came up sooner I would be very interested.

Well had a call yesterday and they have agreed to sell me their showroom car, I think all dealers got 3 cars but apparently Land Rover has told them they have to keep a 3 and a 5 door in the showroom, not sure how true that is? It has more options than I had planned but I am happy with that, so the spec is:

Evoque Pure SD4 Coupe manual in white with black leather
Tech Pack
19" Alloys
Electric Seat Pack

The only thing it hasn't got that I would have liked is foglights, does anyone know if these can be retrofitted?

So rather than having to wait another 5 months I can have the car on Tuesday and I can't wait.

your very lucky, you will be the first Pure owner on this site.

As with the fog lights. My guess is that the wireing harness is there & a set of lamps could be fitted. Your dealer should be able to check this out for you.
One of the members on hear "bell services" has the wiring details but his on holiday at the moment & "duckworths" can supply the parts if your dealer won't help you out.

The dealer has just been in touch to say the the car has got Xenon lights fitted which they tell me are a cost option of around £700 but they aren't charging me for them. I couldn't see this option on the Land Rover website, does anyone know if this is a cost option on the Pure?

Well done getting the dealer to part with a demo/ showroom car so soon. The problem with the Xenons is that allegedly deliveries of Pures are being held up due to a shortage of Xenon units for optional extras.

Well they *used* to be a cost option for the Pure, but due to the supply issues they are currently unavailable as an option on the Pure (they've been removed from the LR online configurator) - presumably so they can make sure they have enough for the Prestige & Dynamics which have them as standard. Regardless you are lucky to be getting a Pure with Xenons anyway, especially as they aren't being charged extra for!
