Evoque Camera/Parking Aid system
Hi guys,
I'm currently trying to figure out which is the best 'camera' options to have on the Evoque. Just to clarify - If you take the 'Surround Camera System w/ Towing Assist', you don't need the 'Front Parking Aid + Rear Camera option'?

RE: Evoque Camera/Parking Aid system
A rear cam is part of the surround cam and you need the rear parking aid for the tow assist to work - IIRC you cannot spec rear cam and surround cam - it's either / or but you don't have to have front parking aid.
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

In the UK you can't spec surround cameras on Pures...... you can only put it on cars that already have front and rear parking sensors and rear view camera as standard ........ so not really sure if you can separate them ......... in the UK you can't.

RE: Evoque Camera/Parking Aid system
Turns out the car will only just squeeze through my garage doors - 2 inches either side - and somewhere else I park it - in an underground car park with thick pillars supporting the building above, I have to reverse it into my space to be able to get out of it. All this made me think it would be good to to have the surround camera system so I've added it before the order cut-off. If is saves you one scrape during its life, it's paid for itself.
One tip for those with tight garage entrances is to put a mirror on the far end wall across the width, much easier then to judge the positioning of the car.
